My dearest friends: This is a cry for help. I love you all sosososo very much, but there's only four of you. Now, don't get me wrong, you all are worth the world to me, but seeing that little number 4 there, week after week, is a little sad. So please, tell your friends, family, anybody who likes nail polish, nail art, or other various artsy things. My URL is http://www.fingertipstap.blogspot.com, so please, share it up! Love you all :)

Let it Snow!
Never mind, friends! The internet works, so long as I'm really, realllllly patient. Here's the nails!
Allright! Give your nails a bit of time to dry, and then proceed onto the next step. Place a couple drops of white polish onto an old tupperware lid. Using the stick, make one white line on your nail. From there, make a white line crossing that one. Then make two more, to form a snowflake.
Make one or two snowflakes on each nail, varying in size and position. Even make a couple that extend off of your nails!
Here's the supplies:
4 shades of darkening blues, a silver, a white, a sponge, and something to make lines and dots with.
I used Klean Color's "Mermaid", "Blue Pearl", and "Cobalt", Wet n Wild's "I Need A Refresh-Mint", and "Silvivor", Maybelline's "Porcelain Party", and NYC 's "Empire State Blue".
First step, polish your nails the lightest blue that you'll be using. I'm really sorry, but I forgot to take a picture of this step. I'm sure you can imagine, and the next photo shows what the polish looks like under the second color. Before you proceed to the next step, wait until your nails are COMPLETELY DRY. Don't skip this, you'll end up having mashed up polish, and won't be able to get the design to look nice.
Next step: Paint a bit of the next darker shade of polish onto the makeup sponge, and starting at your cuticle, dab the darker polish down your nail.
The gradient is hard to see here, it's easier in the next photo.
Repeat this step with each shade of blue, progressing until you are putting just a small bit of the darkest blue right at your cuticle.

Next, place a couple drops of silver polish onto the lid, and use the stick to place silver dots at the points and centers of all the snowflakes.
When you're finished, you should have a design that looks something like this:
Finished!
Now clean up your cuticles and the edges of your nails, and you're finished! PAM it, and you should be good to go.
Okay, now that we've finished this, let's see some other pictures!
Okay, maybe this is a bit excessive...
Caps :)
For Christmas, I was given twelve new bottles of polish from one line, called Klean Color. So far, I really like the quality of polish, and the colors are just fantastic.
Here's the colors I was given
Allrighty everyone, I hope you all have had a wonderful break so far, and I'll see you all back at school!

Waiting, My Friends
Hellllloooooooooo, blog family. For Christmas, I got a TON of new polishes. No joke, I think I was given at least 15 new colors. Hooray! I painted my nails an adorably festive blue, I really did, and I even took pictures. Sadly, the internet connection here is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo slow that I doubt I'll be able to upload these. I promise I'll try though, and I hope that you all have had a wonderful time on break so far!

It Was Sad, So Sad...
My friends, it has been over a month since I last joined you. This bad, habit, it simply HAS to stop! My most heartfelt condolences. To repay you, I bought the most fantastic bottle of nail polish I have EVER seen, and now I shall proceed to... GET FESTIVE!!!
Today I shall share with you my very favorite holiday polish, and I promise that I'll be a blogging maniac over break. I swear! Here goes... :)
Today I shall share with you my very favorite holiday polish, and I promise that I'll be a blogging maniac over break. I swear! Here goes... :)
Materials: Finger Paints' "Primary Color", Wet n Wild's "Silvivor" and "Star of the Show"
Allrighty. Gather your materials. You should use a festive color, and then use a metallic that contrasts. For example, because I used red, which is a warm color, I used silver. If I had used green, a cool color, then I would have used gold. Polish all your fingernails with the red, and then paint one of your pinky nails silver. Just one.
Like this, except try to be a little neater, or else you'll have a lot of cleaning up around your nails to do when you finish your design.
I used two coats of all the polish. Wait for it to dry a bit, so that it feels tacky when touched, but doesn't leave fingerprints in the polish or mush it around when you touch it either. Then, use the silver stars to put at least one star on each fingernail except the silver one. The star polish is quite thick, and a little gloppy, but it's basically a clear coat with confetti in it. Love it.
The nice thing about it is that the polish dries very quickly, even though it is very thick.
Here's the hard part. Using the red, take the brush and touch it to your pinky fingernail. Holding the brush still, roll your finger from right to left, and tilt it up a little. This will produce a really smooth, ribbon-like stripe that looks a little bit like a candy cane. Repeat once or twice, until you are happy.
Like this!
Allright folks, that's all for today! Finish up, and you'll have pretty, festive holiday nails to show off for all of winter break.
Comments make my day! Love you all!
